I'm a big
believer
That people buy from people.
I'm always eager to know a person's story, so let me tell you a bit of mine.
fun facts about Kate
1
I started singing competitively at 3 years old. I was performing on stage and winning contests left and right. I have a music school education, where I learned solfeggio and majored in fortepiano. (Fancy way of saying I played piano, you know?) I learned opera singing, so every now and then I can't help but go all out with a rendition of Santa Lucia in my kitchen!

My first job was at GAP when I was 16, spending 13-14 hours a day on my feet. Often, my customers would ask to speak to my manager just to compliment me on my taste. That’s when I realized this is the only part of the job I liked. The creativity!

In my first year of university, I joined AIESEC, a non-profit organization. There our team was tasked to develop an online course about leadership for students. The catch? We had absolutely no budget. Like, zero dollars. But guess what? We totally nailed it! We managed to get Ukrainian celebrities on board (for free, can you believe it?) and we even got to shoot the course in an actual TV-channel studio. You can watch it HERE.

I've worked as a copywriter in ad agencies. My job was to come up with ideas for TV ads and write scripts for them. The fun fact here, however, is that my advertising specialty was... drumroll... beer brands (mostly). Logical for a 20-something-year-old girl who doesn’t really like beer that much. Ultimately, I was burnt out, and that's how I decided to go freelance.

Stop motion was that missing puzzle piece in my life. I loved having a creative job but I hated that my job was to come up with an idea and then hand it off to someone else to be brought to life (in a way that didn’t align with my vision). Stop motion allowed me to execute all my ideas on my own. It’s magic!

I've upgraded my knowledge through a whopping 19 courses, both offline and online (Yes, I’m obsessed with learning!) These are educational programs on stop motion animation, advertising, social media, copyright law, business strategy, etc. And that's not even including the Domestika courses I love, one-day trainings, and my university education.
it was quite a road getting to this point.
let’s see what’s next!
P.S. I almost forgot, I won two advertising awards. Just in case you're into that kind of stuff. D&AD New Blood Winner 2021 & 2023
